White Feather Farm fills an important gap. While veterinary medicine can offer diagnostics and a limited range of therapeutics, this wellness center, will go further, by offering other options for healing.  Diane recognizes the importance of an individualized nutrition plan based on whole, unprocessed foods, as well as the role that the guardian-pet relationship plays. White Feather Farm will provide dogs and their people with therapies and education that will maximize the health of our beloved pets.

We went to White Feather Farm for Warm Water Therapy to help improve the mobility of life for our aging Lab, Gordie.  What we got was so much more. Diane's sincere concern and interest in helping us accomplish our objective, maintaining the highest quality of life for as long as possible, was evident from our first visit.

The physical, nutritional, and spiritual support Diane offered along with her flexible schedule, made us feel like we were her first priority. Frankly, I believe I benefited from our visits as much as Gordie did. I've cared for dogs for more than 40 years, and our experience at White Feather Farm was the most fulfilling and rewarding I've experienced.

I can not thank Diane enough for all the help she gave me during an extremely difficult time towards the end of my dog Jaspers journey. She provided me with answers when it seemed there were none, compassion and support when I needed it, and made an incomparable difference in the quality of life Jasper lived until his last day. She came up with suitable meal plans, stimulation exercises, bonding experiences and natural alternatives to dangerous medications he was prescribed. She gave me access to contact her whenever I needed to ask questions, no matter how small or seemingly ridiculous they were and was extremely patient and sympathetic to the nature of our problem. Visiting the farm was a spiritual experience in itself. There is something very special about that place, and Diane herself. You will be hard pressed to find another person who truly cares, first and foremost about the animals, but you as well. She listens intently to every word you say, shares her suggestions without being forceful, and basically maps out a total care plan for you to follow. The health, happiness and love she helped me bring into Jasper's world was unimaginable. I recommend all of Diane's services to anyone with a dog, whether it be diet and food help, aquatic therapy, reiki, massage techniques, natural/holistic approaches or simply walking through the serene trails on the property. Anyone open to a meaningful positive experience for their dog will not be disappointed.

My husband and I were told by two different veterinarians that our 3 year old male Airedale Terrier was too heavy and needed to lose weight. Unfortunately, they insisted on highlighting the issue with no real solution other than, just trying to cut down on his kibble. We did blood work, all normal. We hiked and jogged with Quincey and he tried to keep up, but we noticed he would get tired easily when playing with the other dogs and his weight crept up to 101lbs suffice to say, we were gravely concerned about his welfare and longevity. I attended a seminar and met Diane Mayer, after which we connected, so began the journey for Quincey who is now down to 88lbs in just three months! Through working with Diane, we learned the value of feeding Quincey whole food, we visit White Feather Farm frequently where Diane works with us not only on nutrition but also bonding and 'working' which has helped Quincey's disposition greatly.

Bottom line is that working with Diane proved so much more valuable on so many deeper levels of bonding that nutrition and weight loss was merely the tip of the iceberg. I highly recommend White Feather Farm and the work Diane does. It has made such a huge difference in the health of our amazing dog and given us such a deep respect for the human animal bond.

I was referred to Diane by my vet at a very serious time in my dog, Lucky's life. He had been diagnosed with bone cancer and from my research I knew it was a losing battle but I wanted to do what I could. Not only did Diane advise me on how to give Lucky a better quality of life, she helped me to look at my time with him and my other remaining dogs in a different light. I came to appreciate the term "Living in the moment" as dogs do. Two months and 1 day after Lucky crossed over, Sadie was diagnosed with the same beast of a disease. Right away I had scheduled a visit with Diane to better understand what Sadie needed as each dog is different. I always considered myself as being "In tune" with my dogs but Diane brought me to another level with Sadie. I now try to reach out and use Diane's talent and services to keep my dogs healthy and not just in times of crisis. She has such a calming, nurturing way with your dog but with the human as well.
