Ancient peoples used the elements, the seasons, and the sky to move on the land. This movement included their personal growth cycles. Nature guiding individuals.
Since the dance of daylight and darkness were a joy - like other cycles - Native peoples had fun with these spiraling movements. The way a baby delights in movement as it discovers its own being in space and time. This joy became the ancient wisdom we now call astrology. That’s why Native partnership societies taught their children astrology - and why the world’s most famous people have been astrologers. In the 20th Century, Carl Jung re-remembered this use of astrology and gave us personality-profiles for a deeper awareness of who we are. And how we move in the world. The White Feather Farm’s Astrology in Nature Summer Camp reproduces these ancient teachings.
What does this mean for the children who attend?
