Unplugged

The farm is about getting back to nature, so we try our best to avoid distractions of the modern world. We ask that you either leave your cell phones, cameras and any other devices in your car, or give them to us upon your arrival.  They will be securely and respectfully cared for while you visit.

RESERVATION

Full payment is due to reserve your appointment. When you reserve a spot for workshops, group ceremonies or private sessions, a sacred space is prepared prior to your arrival, and so we do not offer refunds. 

CANCELLATION

You may cancel your reservation, however your payment is forfeit. 

UPON ARRIVAl

Please prepare to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment. When you arrive at the farm, please park outside of the gate and wait for Diane to come greet you. As the farm is home to many animals as well as offering a sacred space for individuals, it is important to be mindful and respectful when entering the property. White Feather Farm is a private space. Weapons, firearms or loud noises are not permitted on the property. Guests enter and use these premises at their own risk. Any visitor to the farm may be asked to sign a liability waiver before services are rendered.

MEDICAL CONCERNS

Please be honest and forthright with any medical conditions that may interfere or impact your ability to participate in classes, sessions or workshops. All information provided on this site is intended for educational purposes only. Information produced by the White Feather Farm is not intended to be a replacement for medical treatment. Diane Mayer, The White Feather Farm and their agents, officers and representatives are not responsible for the misuse, misinformation or otherwise from personal use of this site or social media. 

Disclaimer/Waiver

All visitors to the farm will be asked to sign a physical waiver to visit the farm and participate in activities, or digitally agree to all terms and service listed on this page when registering for services, classes, workshops or events via our online registration forms.

While we do our very best to provide a safe environment, the farm is a working farm, and safety and health issues may arise from interactions with animals, plants, structures, food, weather, natural elements and other people and participants while visiting the farm. Visitors to the farm are responsible for their own safety while on the property, and we ask all visitors to be respectful of all animals, plants, elements, weather, people, workers, volunteers and other beings while visiting the farm. Parents/Guardians agree to terms and conditions for minors and dependents visiting the farm. All visitors participating in warm water therapy or use of the pool must know how to swim prior to entering the pool.

In consideration of use of or on the premises, property and services of The White Feather Farm, All Visitors to the Farm, their heirs, personal representative or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue The White Feather Farm, Diane and Rob Mayer, it’s trustees, directors, officers, employees and agents from liability from any and all claims including negligence of The White Feather Farm owned by Diane and Rob Mayer, resulting in personal injury, accidents, or illnesses (including death) and property loss arising from use of premises.

Assumption of Risk: The White Feather Farm carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. All Visitors to the farm have read the previous paragraphs and know and understand and appreciate these and other risks are inherent in activities and visitation of The White Feather Farm. All Visitors to the farm hereby assert that participation is voluntary and that all visitors knowingly assume all such risks.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless: All Visitors to the farm also agree to indemnify and hold harmless The White Feather Farm, Diane and Rob Mayer, its trustees, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities including attorney fees as a result of this use of premises and property. 

Severability: All Visitors to the farm further expressly agrees that the forgoing waiver and assumption of risk agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of Pennsylvania and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

Acknowledgement of Understanding: All Visitors to the Farm certify that they have read this document and fully understand its content. All visitors are aware that this is a release of liability agree to the terms listed here. A physical waiver is available upon request, and all digital service checkouts require agreeing to these terms and conditions prior to visiting the farm or participating in any and all activities.
